Erie FCU’s #TeamAOK, aka "Frozen Assets", did their part again for the Special Olympics Pennsylvania by participating in their annual Polar Plunge. Due to COVID-19, instead of doing the typical plunge into Lake Erie, the teams were required to do a Polar “Pop”; a water balloon filled with ice-cold water popped over their heads!

Team AOK “Frozen Assets” members - Michelle Kraus, Mary Therese Causgrove, Marco Quadri, and Jacob Witosky all took the icy “Pop” for a great cause! $2,943 was raised locally by the team with over $825,000 being donated state-wide! Money raised will be earmarked to fund training and sponsor numerous competitions for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities in the state of PA.

Way to go team “Frozen Assets” and thank you to everyone who donated during this month-long fundraiser! Together, we can make a difference!
