Good Deeds Day is back for the 3rd Year!

Erie Federal Credit Union and the Erie SeaWolves will host the 2nd annual “Good Deeds Day” at the Jerry Uht ballpark. “Good Deeds Day” is a day designated to allow Erie area charitable organizations the opportunity to create awareness and raise funds during the Erie SeaWolves - Binghamton Mets game on Wednesday July 1st at 7:05 PM. Erie FCU has chosen “Project Support Our Troops” and “Embracing Our Veterans” as our “Good Deeds Day” charities.

Item donations will benefit “Project Support Our Troops” with cash donations designated for “Embracing Our Veterans”. Beginning Monday, June 1st, all Erie FCU branch locations will be accepting donations to benefit these two great causes. Cash and items donated with be presented to the organizations at the July 1st SeaWolves game.

Last year's “Good Deeds Day” was a huge success! Because of your generosity and ongoing community efforts, team Erie FCU raised $1,520 for “Embracing Our Veterans” along with collecting a van full of food and items for “Project Support Our Troops” that was sent to our brave men and women currently serving overseas.

We are proud to give back to the veterans and the members of the armed forces for their service and sacrifice to this great country of ours!!

“Project Support Our Troops” provides necessary items to help bring a “slice of home” to our loved ones stationed abroad. A list of needed items will be available at all Erie FCU branch locations.

“Embracing Our Veterans” is a non-profit referral network of local businesses and organizations whose main objective is to help qualifying veterans and their families find discounted or no cost services in Erie and Crawford Counties.
