Erie FCU Celebrates International Credit Union Day

The Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie, PA, celebrated Credit Union Day with fun-filled activities throughout the day. Credit Union members were treated to pumpkin cookies, free giveaways and Halloween-theme prizes for the kids. In addition, credit union employees joined volunteers from Junior Achievement and Penn State Behrend to bring the “Financial Literacy Live Game Show” to eight-grade students at Wilson Middle School in Erie. Nearly 150 students participated in a game show activity that tested the student’s knowledge on economics, money, credit and other important life skills. The Erie Federal Credit Union donated prizes and served as team coaches throughout the day. The event was featured on local news stations and is being broadcast on the local education television station.
